Ingredients
- 2 cups rice(wash it before using)
- Shaoxing wine 125 ml(if some date-plum have soaked in it would be better)
- Longan as much as can be soaked into the Shaoxing wine
- 10 slices of ginger(as thin as possible)
- 160 ml Mizhiu Tou with 2 tsps of salt
- 80 ml sesame oil
- 20 goji berry
Steps
1. Pan-fry ginger in sesame oil, make sure the fire temperature is low, till the ginger's color becomes dark.
2. Remove ginger from the pan. Add rice into the pan, pan-fry it till it absorbs sesame oil fully and evenly.
3. While waiting in step 2, put ginger on the bottom of another pot(or whatever you will use to steam the rice later).
4. Add Shaoxing wine into the pot first and make sure to smell the spicy from the wine. Then it's a good time to add longan into the pot and fry all the ingredients in the pot.
5. Move all the all the ingredients in the pot into the pot where the ginger is. Then add the Mizhiu Tou and 320 ml water into the rice.
6. Add gogi berry and date-plum, if date-plum is available for you, into the rice.
7. If the rice cooker you use needs water outside the pot, add 320 ml water in the ricer cooker. Then stem the rice.
